Check your tool fit
2-inch twist-on discs. Use the included holder with a compatible die grinder, drill or rotary tool that accepts a 1/4-inch shank.
120 discs. Three grades. Holder included.
TOP-TOOL 2-inch quick change sanding discs are non-woven surface conditioning discs for cleaning, light deburring, blending and finishing. Each disc combines aluminum oxide abrasive with a nylon base. The twist-on connection lets you move between grades using the same holder.
Keep Coarse, Medium and Fine discs ready for small repair areas, metal edges and everyday workshop preparation. Check your tool's shank capacity and operating speed before ordering.

Choose the grade for the job
Choose the least aggressive grade that does the work. Move to a finer grade when the surface needs further refinement.

For rust cleanup and more demanding surface cleaning within this three-grade set.
For general surface preparation, blending and light deburring.
For finishing passes and light surface conditioning before the next step.
Coarse, Medium and Fine are non-woven abrasive grades. They are not exact sandpaper grit-number equivalents. Test a small area to check the scratch pattern and finish.
A closer look
Compare the Coarse, Medium and Fine surfaces up close. Aluminum oxide abrasive is carried through the non-woven nylon structure.

Included quick-change holder
The included holder has a 1/4-inch (6.35 mm) shank. Use it with a compatible die grinder, drill or rotary tool that accepts this shank size and is suitable for the accessory.
The disc's molded threaded button twists into the backing holder. It is a roll lock style connection; it does not attach to a hook-and-loop pad.
The power tool is not included. Check the ratings of the disc, holder and tool together. Do not exceed the lowest rated component or the disc maximum of 23,000 RPM.

Before each use
23,000 RPM is the maximum disc rating, not a recommended operating speed for every material.
Compact working areas
A 2-inch disc helps concentrate work on a small area. The non-woven nylon structure carries the abrasive across the surface as the disc turns.
Clean localized areas before further repair or finishing.
Work on small edges and surface burrs with controlled pressure.
Refine surface marks and prepare repair areas for the next process.
Use Fine for light conditioning after the main preparation work.
Best suited to surface conditioning rather than bulk metal removal. For heavy weld leveling, deep rust or thick coatings, select an abrasive designed for that operation. Finish and removal rate depend on the material, grade, pressure and tool speed.

Before you buy
Yes. You receive 120 sanding discs plus a backing holder with a 1/4-inch shank. The disc count is 40 Coarse, 40 Medium and 40 Fine. The holder is additional to those 120 discs.
Check that your tool accepts a 1/4-inch (6.35 mm) shank and supports this type of rotary abrasive accessory. The discs twist onto the included holder. They do not attach directly to hook-and-loop backing pads or a full-size angle grinder spindle.
Start with the least aggressive grade that achieves the required preparation. Coarse handles heavier cleaning within this set, Medium covers general preparation and blending, and Fine supports light conditioning and finishing. Test on a small area before working on a visible or dimension-sensitive surface.
These surface conditioning discs use aluminum oxide abrasive in a non-woven nylon base. They are a different product type from coated zirconia sanding discs and should be selected for their surface preparation and finishing role.
The maximum disc rating is 23,000 RPM. Your working speed must also remain within the holder and tool ratings, following the lowest limit. Match the speed and pressure to the material and application, inspect the disc before use and follow the tool manufacturer's instructions.
The discs can be used for suitable surface preparation work on metal, wood and other compatible workshop materials. Results vary with the substrate and grade. Test a small area first, especially on soft materials, coatings and surfaces where the finish or dimensions must be preserved.
