Professional 250D6 — 250mm / 10-Inch 3-Jaw Self-Centering Chuck, Form D Short-Taper Camlock

The 250D6 is built for short-taper lathe spindles that use Form D (camlock) retention. It mounts directly on the spindle nose with cam pins and studs; no separate adapter flange is required when your spindle matches this interface. Short taper reference angle 7°7′30″. Overall clamping envelope 6–250 mm (0.24–9.84 in) (same jaw geometry class as our plain-back models of the same diameter class).

Technical Specifications

Compatibility

You must verify that your lathe spindle nose short taper large-end size matches D1, and that the spindle is Form D (camlock retention). Also confirm the stud pattern (z–d) matches your machine. Machine swing must clear chuck body diameter D and fully opened jaws.

Maintenance

Clean and lubricate the scroll and gears with molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂) grease.

Never run with the chuck key engaged. Respect rated speeds for diameter and workpiece balance.
